Google could be working on a new operating system for now know as Fuchsia. The operating system is not base on Linux kernel as it is the case for Chrome OS and Android. The project has been find as a growing pile of code on GitHub and Google Source. It seems like Fuchsia has been taught to unify Chrome OS and Android and thus replacing them. This time, Fuchsia is not based on the Linux Kernel but on Magenta, a medieum-size microkernel that has been developed for modern devices that uses fast and modern processors as well as a Gigabits of RAM. It therefore supports drivers to link several peripherals as well as features for a multitask operating system just to name these. Also Magenta itself is based on Little Kernel that is design to be used on embedded systems (computers that have specialize functions and does not need an actual operating systems such as smartwatches). Google has also added different programming languages such as Dart, JSON, SSL and Google Go. There's even Flutter that allows developers to develop Android and IOS apps from the same base. Fuchsia could be use for Internet of Things devices such as Google's Nest and OnHub router. However according to The Verge, it could be used on other devices other than IoT devices as Google already has it own dedicated IoT platform known as Brillo plus the fact that it support graphic renderings. Henceforth it could be used for VR gear and computers who knows ? Fuchsia could be out very soon maybe in 2017. It is already tested on Intel's NUC computers and on Acer's Switch Alpha 12. Also, developers behind this new OS said that Fuchsia will be compatible with Raspberry Pi 3. These are juste speculations for now but the only and one thing we can be sure of is that Fuchsia will be a new operating system from Google as this is what is written on top of the GitHub page : "Pink + Purple == Fuchsia (a new operating system)"
