It was in 2014 that Apple had deposited a patent in the American Patent Office and that patent was finally accepted on the 4th October. According to that patent, Apple was working on a way to implement a capacitif finger print scanner that is placed below the tactile screen of the phone. That system developed by Apple supposedly allows a finger print scanner below the tactile surface of the screen. Theoretically speaking, the user can now unlock his/her device by just placing his/her finger anywhere on the screen. For this, Apple had had to develop a lens system so as to give a less distorted ad clearer image to the sensor because before that image was distorted by the glass surface and the space that separates the finger and the sensor. This “revolutionary” technology developped by Apple Inc, may lead to the disappearance of the home button, giving more space for the screen. This therefore helps to reinforce the already existing rumours concerning Apple's 2017 flagship device that’ll celebrate 10yrs of iPhones. According to these rumors, Apple's next phone may have a bigger screen while conserving the same case size. But if this rumors are false it may allow for a more compact device (better…) How this will also lead to the creation of new interactions to communicate with the device. iPhones’ holders will know that the home button doesn't only service for the unlocking of the device but also to activate Sir, access the home page and access background opened apps. Hello the on-screen button (a little wink to Android 😉). However this goes without saying that this reminds me of a similar patent filled by Qualcomm for a finger print scanner low a glass...
