As you may already know, Android Studio is an integrated development environment (IDE) destined for the development of Android apps. It contains all the tools needed to design the user interfaces of apps as well as the tools needed to develop the different functionalities of the app. This year at the occasion of the Google I/O 2016, Google has introduce Android Studio 2.2 with as principal feature, Constraint Layout.

As you finish the the design, Android Studio will automatically calculate the constraints for you. The result is that your interfaces will be automatically resize on different screen sizes.

Another new feature of Android Studio 2.2 is Espresso. This test framework supplies with the API to write tests so as simulate the users with the app's UI. Other features are the tools brought by IntelliJ2016, the latest verion of JetBrains.
However this kind of update is mainly to convince developpers to turn to Android Studio as their main IDE. 92% of the apps on the Google Play Store are developped using Android Studio has said the company and nobody doubts their desire to make this digit rise.
