The new standard for the Bluetooth technology, the Bluetooth 5.0 has been unveiled on the 7th December 2016 and promises a lot of improvements and innovations from the previous version. It is said to impact on 2 major defaults of Bluetooth : the instability of the connection and the unequal flow rates.

Swiftkey, the popular alternative keyboard on Android gets a new major feature. The feature is base on "artificial neural network", which according to them improves word prediction on our smartphone keyboards thus pushing the intelligence of our virtual keyboards to a next level.
Today Android Authority released a very interesting article about why smartphones equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800/801 will not receive Android 7.0 Nougat. Actually it is just a theory they’ve put up however that theory proves to be really relevant. At the end of the article I decided to make the link with the Infinix Hot 2 and I had my answer.
A couple of months back Google announced Android N and made it available to the general public in the form of a developer preview allowing Nexus owners to test Google's new OS. At the Google I/O, it official name was know “Nougat”. In mid-july, Nougat’s latest developer preview the “developer preview 5” was released and people started speculating that this will be the last and that Google's next announcement will be Nougat's official release. So here we are, on the 22nd July, Google officially announced Android 7.0 Nougat and made it available in it final form to the general public.
Seamless updates is a new feature that will be coming up with Android Nougat. Reports says this feature has been inspired from a similar feature on Chrome OS. Dave Burke, VP engineer at Google even revealed that codes from Chrome OS have been used and transpose to mobile.
Android Nougat is already available as a developer preview since March 9. This developper preview allows us to see what we can expect from the next Android release. Android Nougat is expected to be launched in Q3 of this year? (Q3 is vague but however we can guess that it will be available later this year as rumors says) alongside the new Nexus devices.
