“Sonoma” is Microsoft new app destined to help organise workers who work outside of a traditional working environment. The name Sonoma is not the app's real name but just a code like name given to the project. It is described as the “One-stop app for deckless workers” such as workers in a factory or restaurateurs. It allow workers to consult their working days, to be notified when their timetable has been modified, schedule swap request or to simply chat among them. The app is still in the state of development. A dedicated website is already online (the website has been deleted) where you can sign up to be notified when the app will be officially released or to take part in the “Beta Program” (private preview) to test it. For this you'll need at least Android 4.2 (Jellybean) or IOS 8 or 9 to be able to participate to that Beta Program. Still you’ll need to be accepted to that Beta Program as only a limited numbers of companies are involved
