Twitter announced the death of it famous video platform, Vine 2 months ago. This news greatly affected the community (me included ?). However Twitter updated the Vine FAQ page with some new items, all telling us that Vine is going to reborn in another form, Vine Camera.
The specialist of 6.5S videos is not going to shut down completely but is going to come back to us in another form, a new app under the name Vine Camera. This comeback is scheduled for the 17th January 2017.
The new app embarks the core purpose of Vine, the possibility of creating these famous 6.5S videos. However, unfortunately, all the other functionalities of the app goes away. The app will be like a standard video app that allow us to create short videos (will provide us with editing features certainly) and to directly upload them on Twitter.
The Vine website is still online and allows us to watch our vines and to download them directly from there. However hurry up as this will be no more available on the 17th of January. Twitter therefore invite the creators to save their artworks before this date.
Vine is stripped of all it attractiveness (cries). Twitter, in other to motivate us (and to increase it audience and keep the platform reliable) allows us to invite our former followers to follow us directly on Twitter. Hope this strategy is going to work for Twitter. Don’t want to see it die too.
